Baptisms

Baptism, also sometimes known as a Christening, is the beginning of a journey with God which will continue for the rest of our lives. In Baptism promises are made either by the person being baptised, or on their behalf if they are too young to make those promises themselves, to respond to God’s love by living a Christian way of life.

You can choose instead a service of Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child. We will help you with this choice.

Weddings

A wedding is a time of commitment and joy as husband and wife promise to love and support each other through all the times of their lives together.

Funerals

There is often a real sense of loss at the death of a loved one. A funeral helps us to express our feelings and say farewell, to give thanks to God for a life lived and to comfort one another in the Christian hope of new life in Christ after death.
