In the Bible it says:

“There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season.”

Ecclesiastes 3 (NCV)

As we live our lives there will be times of joy to be celebrated and also times of sadness to be marked.

The first step to having any sort of ceremony in one of our 11 churches is to choose the correct link below and complete the form.

Someone from our team will be in touch as soon as possible once you have sent it.

Baptism, also sometimes known as a Christening, is the beginning of a journey with God which will continue for the rest of our lives. In Baptism promises are made either by the person being baptised, or on their behalf if they are too young to make those promises themselves, to respond to God’s love by living a Christian way of life.

You can choose instead a service of Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child. We will help you with this choice.

If you would like to speak to one of the Ministry Team about baptism for yourself or your child please contact us /contact-us.

There is often a real sense of loss at the death of a loved one. A funeral helps us to express our feelings and say farewell, to give thanks to God for a life lived and to comfort one another in the Christian hope of new life in Christ after death.

A member of the clergy would be happy to talk through the funeral process with you, please contact us /contact-us. More information on Funerals in the Church of England can be found at:
